Why did David Pronounce a Blessing on the Man to whom God Credits Righteousness apart from the Works of the Law?
Right Standing with God is Credited to our Account by Grace, which we Receive through Faith and not by Ritualism or Religious Legalism.
We can perform a Liturgical Ritual 1,000 times, or recite Ritual Mantras with Prayer Beads all day long, or participate in a Psychedelic Magic Mushroom Mystery Tour, or try to Buy a Ticket to the Stairway to Heaven with redeemable Grace Points, but it will all be in vain because we Receive the Grace of Jesus as a Free Gift.
This is why David Congratulates the Man who has Righteousness Credited to his Account by the Grace of God, and NOT by Performing any kind of Ritual or Religious Performance.
