REIGN AS KINGS BY OVERCOMING ADDICTIONS

To Overcome Addictions we need to understand how Addictions gain so much control over our lives.

Paul explains very clearly how Addictions and Bondages gain so much power to influence us in his Epistle to the Roman Church, and it’s not what most people think it is.

Pop Psychology gives us the impression that Addictions start taking over our lives because we lack decision making power.

But in reality the opposite is true, because even very successful and highly motivated individuals are often hiding addictions to alcohol or gambling or illicit drugs or sexual perversions.

When Successful people are asked, HOW DID YOU GET ADDICTED?, Woke Psychologists suppress the reality of how the process of addiction happens.

Most people will admit about addictions that the harder they tried to get rid of the addiction, the more power it seemed to gain over their emotions and lifestyle until they finally give up trying in despair.

This is why we will see highly successful people in very prominent roles drinking whiskey or bourbon or vodka or sake, at 10am or even earlier.

A highly motivated individual may say something like this, “No matter how many resolutions I made, including hypnotherapy sessions and endless Yoga Meditation and Magic Mushrooms and various Purification Rituals, I couldn’t shake this addiction, I found the harder I tried to stop it the worse it became. When I set Rules to stop doing it, the addiction then gained and even greater stranglehold over me.” ( This is a fictional example for illustration purposes only and is not quoted from any particular individual)

This is how Paul describes this dilemma, “But then the Law came in, only to expand and increase the trespass, making it more apparent and exciting opposition” Romans 5:20a, AMP

In this scenario the Law can be compared to Rule Keeping or Ritualism or Mantras, that are used by individuals to try to overthrow their controlling addictions.

Why are so many young males not able to overcome Porn Addiction?

The Woke Agenda is now trying to suppress masculinity in young males in the Western School System by implementing Rules for language usage, which Woke advocates are now using to ban certain “patriarchal” words and phrases, which is gradually creating an Orwellian scenario.

The answer to overcoming the bondage of Ritualism and Liturgical observances which actually enhance the power of addictions, is to SUPERABOUND in Grace.

Romans 5:20b, “But where Sin increased and abounded, Grace which is Gods unmerited Favour, has surpassed it and increased the more and SUPERABOUNDED,”

The Grace of Jesus enables us to beat all addictions, and to Surpass the attractiveness and seductive spirit of Porn and Gambling and Illicit Drug bondages by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
