Grace Vs Adventist Deception
The Apostle Paul would often warn Believers that deceivers would try to corrupt Churches by adding Ritualism to the Gospel of Grace, thereby causing a kind of Separation Anxiety amongst the Believers.
We can see this very clearly with the Adventist False Prophetess Ellen White and her so called ‘Revelations’.
Ellen White is quoted in ‘Light Bearers to the Remnant p68-69’ for Adventist Hermeneutics, “I would be taken off in vision, and a clear explanation of the passages we had been studying would be given me………………when not in vision, I could NOT understand these matters…..they accepted as light direct from heaven the revelations given”.
This is a common tactic of our Spiritual Enemy to corrupt the Gospel of Grace.
In Paul’s Letter to the Turkish Believers in Galatia, Paul asks who has bewitched them to remove the Believers from the Grace of Christ.
How are Believers deceived into abandoning the Gospel of Grace?

In Hebrews 7:11, AMP, we can see the reason why there had been a change of Law when the Priesthood was changed, “Now if perfection, a perfect fellowship between God and the Worshipper, had been attained through the Levitical Priesthood,”
This Scripture in Hebrews is explaining that nobody has been able to attain Perfection under the Old Covenant before Jesus Christ came.
Those wanting to bring Believers back under Spiritual Legalism and away from Grace, do so on the basis of the promise of Perfection if you follow their Doctrinal Formulas or Rituals.
This is clarified in Hebrews Ch7:12, “For when the Priesthood is changed, of necessity there takes place a change of Law also.”

Under the Old Covenant the Priests mediated according to the Terms of the Spiritual Law, and to clarify here, we are talking about Religious Laws and not the Law of Political Government.
There were different orders of Priests to mediate different kinds of Religious Laws.
Historically, some denominations have moved so far away from the Gospel of Grace, that they have attempted to reinstate the type of Old Covenant Priesthood that has been abolished under the New Covenant.
If the Priesthood is different, then by necessity the Religious Laws need to be different.
Hebrews 7:11, “For if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical Priesthood , for under it the people received the Law, what further need would there have been for another Priest to arise after the Order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the Order of Aaron?”
What is not commonly understood is that Jesus teaching of the Religious Law in the Gospels was primarily designed to show his followers that it was impossible for them to keep the Religious Laws under their own efforts, and that He was the only one who could fulfil the strict requirements of the Law.
Jesus was not Teaching the Law to give the Disciples hope that they could one day be as Righteous as the Pharisees if they tried harder.

There are two types of Priesthoods mentioned in Hebrews, the Levitical and the Melchizedek.
These two Priesthoods administer two different kinds of Religious Laws, and Israel received their Religious Law administered by the Levitical Priesthood.
