Grace Vs Ritual Demands

The Demands of Ritualism are never ending.

When you have Prayed or Meditated or Performed a particular Ritual 5 times per day, your Inner Critic will say to you that you fell short of what’s required to reach Nirvana.

The Spiritual Demands of Religious Legalism are impossible to appease through your own efforts.

The Apostle Paul explains this in his Letter to the Turkish Believers in Galatia, Galatians 3:5, AMP, “So then, does He who supplies you with His marvelous Holy Spirit and works Miracles among you,”

Notice here that Paul equates the Supply of the Holy Spirit with the Working of Miracles, as the expected outcome of the operation of the Holy Spirit.

Today much of the Church in Western Society is inhibited and stunted by the ‘Passed Away’ dispensationalists, who claim that the Holy Spirit is no longer working by demonstrating the Power of God.

By contrast the Church in Africa is moving with the Power of the Holy Spirit.

So Paul presents us with a Challenge, are we going to allow the Holy Spirit to work Powerfully amongst us by Faith, or are we going try to earn the Holy Spirit’s favour by doing Works of the Mosaic Law and Rituals and Traditions?
