Why Receive the Holy Spirit by Faith?
Some Believers today have been deceived into Believing that if God wants to give us the Holy Spirit, then He will when he gets around to it, but right now He is too busy.
Paul in his Letter to the Galatians in Turkey corrects this error, Galatians 3:2 AMP, “This is all I want to ask of you: Did you Receive the Holy Spirit as a result of obeying the requirements of the Law, or was it the result of Hearing the Message of Salvation, and with Faith Believing it?”
The “With Faith Believing it?” Is the Key to Receiving the Holy Spirit.
So we have to make a decision to exercise our Faith to Believe to receive the Holy Spirit.
We asked our fictitious character, Praeter Presbyter to comment, “I’ve never heard before in Theological School that we need to use our Faith to Believe to Receive the Holy Spirit. That is completely opposite to what we’ve been told. Professor Dubitans Scrooge told us that if there is a God, it’s up to Him if he wants to give us the Holy Spirit. So, because none of us are receiving the Holy Spirit at the College, we’ve assumed that it’s all passed away and that we don’t need the Holy Spirit anymore.”

We need to understand why Paul emphasised “and with Faith Believing it?”
It’s totally absurd for us to Believe that we have no role to play in the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and that it’s all up to God.

Our Spiritual Enemy Satan is constantly trying to create an attitude of passivity in the Church, where everything is ascribed to the Sovereignty of God.
Believers who think that everything is up to God become very apathetic, and are wide open to deception by Sects and the Political Correctness Agenda.
By Paul saying in Galatians 3:2 AMP, “ or with Faith Believing it?”, he is placing the responsibility for Receiving the Holy Spirit back on the Believer.

Would you like to Receive the Holy Spirit?
