Faith Vs Ritualism

The Spiritual Warfare that Believers are involved in means that we have to “Fight the Good Fight of Faith”, in order to Win the Game of Life.

This comes as a shock to many Doris Day ‘Que Sera, Sera, whatever will be, will be, the futures not ours to see’, type of Believers.

This is why so many Passive Believers visit Fortune Tellers and Astrologists, to foretell their future fate.

If our future is already foretold by the Stars, then there is nothing that we can do but to accept it, so we think we need a Fortune Teller to uncover it, and thereby allow the Curse to enter our lives.

To Win in Spiritual Warfare requires a Fight, the GOOD FIGHT of Faith, that can and will alter any kind of Curses that our Spiritual Enemy has planned for your future.

The problem is our passivity, which is represented by our unwillingness to enter the Good Fight of Faith.

We should only be unwilling to enter a Fight if we know we are going to Lose, but it is called a Good Fight because we are destined to Win, because of the Blood of Jesus Christ shed at Calvary.

What can cause us to Lose the Game of Life?

If we start to Believe that we can Buy a Ticket to the Stairway to Heaven through any kind of Ritualism, or Legalism, or Prayer Beads, or Reciting a Latin Liturgy, or by Praying a Preset Religious Formula a certain number of times per day, then we have already Lost the Fight.

Paul addresses this in his debate with Religious Legalists in his Epistle to the Roman Church.

Romans 3:30 AMP Para, “Since it is One and the same God who will justify those following the Law (circumcised) by Faith, which germinated from Abraham, and those not following the Law (uncircumcised) through their newly acquired Faith. For it is the same trusting Faith in both cases, a firmly relying Faith in Jesus Christ.”

So we can see that it is our Faith that justifies us before God, and not our addictions to Ritualism or Spiritual Legalism.
