Freedom From Cult Bondage

The only reason that Believers can be deceived by a different Gospel that the Cults Teach, is because they have not properly Received and understood the Grace of Christ.

Paul strongly addresses this issue in his Letter to the Turkish Believers in Galatia.

Galatians 1:6, ESV, “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you in the Grace of Christ and are turning to a different Gospel.”

Make no mistake, Paul makes it clear that if you turn to a different Gospel, it’s not just a matter of personal opinion, as you are deserting Christ Jesus who called you by His Grace.

The Teachers of False Doctrines and Dogmas, whether Political or Religious or Mystical or Psychological, have one major aim, to restrict our Freedoms.

The Doctrines of all Cults, whether it be Jehovah Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventist followers of Ellen White, Mormons, Christadelphians, Scientologists, or Practitioners of Transcendental Meditation, all have the Goal of bringing people into bondage.

Paul illustrates this by warning the Turkish Believers about the intentions of the deceivers.

Galatians 2:4, ESV”..who slipped in to spy out our FREEDOM that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into Slavery.”

When we Receive the Grace of Jesus Christ we are immediately set free of all bondages and addictions, because we are now New Creations in Christ.

Every Cult Doctrine wants to add something to Grace, saying things like,”Yes we have been Saved by Grace, but now we need to strictly observe the Sabbath Day“.

The Cults bring a Lock into their Message, to bind up the Believer in Chains with this Lock.

This Lock is always some kind of Works of the Law, or Religious Ritual, or something else that you have to do to earn Points towards your Salvation.

Paul discusses this in Galatians 2:16, ESV, “Yet we know that a person is not justified by Works of the Law but through Faith in Jesus Christ,”

The Lock that holds the Cult follower in chains can be easily and effortlessly opened by Believing in the Grace of Christ, but the Bondage is caused by either Believing in the False Additional Cult Dogma, or by refusing to Believe in the Power and Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
