How Did You Begin Your New Life?

Paul asks the Turkish Believers in Galatia to examine How they began their New Life.

Galatians 3:3 “..Having begun your New Life Spirituality with the Holy Spirit, are you now reaching perfection by dependence on the Flesh?”

Notice Paul did NOT say , ‘Having begun performing Rituals, or keeping the Sabbath, or Praying with Beads, or offering incense and Lighting Candles, or incessant Chanting in a Monastery’.

On the contrary, Paul made it abundantly clear that we don’t reach perfection through Fleshly Rituals, but only by the Holy Spirit can we live this New Life Successfully.

If you are trying to beat an Addiction to Drugs and Alcohol, or Porn, or Gambling, you need access to the Power of the Holy Spirit to overcome your Addictions.

Religious Ritualism or Magical Mystery Meditation with Psychedelic substances cannot break the control that Addictions have over your Life, only the Holy Spirit can set you free.

The Holy Spirit is the Power of God, and as we obey the Commands of Jesus, we can Receive the Fullness of the Holy Spirit by Faith.

Paul also asked why the Galatians were being So Silly as to think that they can achieve Perfection through Works of Religious Legalism.

Galatians 3:3 AMP “Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly?”

Paul wasn’t trying to win a Popularity Contest, but he was showing the Turkish Believers how dangerous it is to substitute the Holy Spirit for Religious Point Scoring Games.
