Are You Speaking For Or Against The Holy Spirit?

Whether we are Speaking for or against the Holy Spirit is essential to understand if you want to live a Successful Life as a Believer.

Jesus discussed this vital subject in Matthew 12-30,31,32 ECV, “If you are not on my side, you are against me. If you don’t gather in the Harvest with me, you scatter it.”

Here Jesus clearly explains that to be on the side of Jesus, you need to be proactively helping Him bring in the Harvest of new people into the Kingdom of God.

This does not mean that you have to do everything yourself, but you can Sow Seed to help those who are on the frontline helping people, like the wonderful Salvation Army.

Jesus goes on to talk about our Relationship with the Holy Spirit, Matthew 12:31.32 ECV “I tell you any sinful thing you do or say can be forgiven. Even if you Speak against the Son of Man, you can be forgiven. But if you Speak against the Holy Spirit, you can never be forgiven, either in this life or in the life to come.”

The context of these remarkable comments by Jesus Christ is that they were given in response to Jesus being accused by the Religious Legalists of casting out demons by the Power of Beelzebub, the Prince of Demons.

So Jesus made it abundantly clear that if you say the works of the Holy Spirit are the works of Satan, you are Speaking against the Holy Spirit and you will not be forgiven.

We can see this today where Religious Legalists like the SDA and Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons, will speak against anyone who demonstrates the Power of the Holy Spirit, and will in many cases call the demonstration of the Spirit as the work of the devil.

Many of those who Speak against the works of the Holy Spirit have no idea what they are doing , because they are acting like Parrots repeating whatever they have been told.

Nevertheless if we Speak against the Holy Spirit, there is a very grave danger that we will never be forgiven.

What are the Works of the Holy Spirit?

The Works of the Holy Spirit include Healings, Speaking in Tongues, Gifts of Discernment and Knowledge, and more that we will discuss in the next parts of this Series.

Nowadays we are being told by the Religious Legalists that these Holy Spirit Gifts have all passed away with the Apostles.

It’s amazing how quickly those who peddle such nonsense change their minds whenever they themselves or a loved one gets seriously ill and needs Healing.
