The Missing Ingredient – Unlimited Supply

Modern Religious Formalism lacks a vital Missing Ingredient, the Holy Spirit.

In Paul’s Letter to the Turkish Believers in Galatia, he tied the Supply of the Holy Spirit and the Working of Miracles together.

Galatians 3:5 “Then does He Who Supplies you with His marvellous Holy Spirit and works powerfully and miraculously among you…”

If we are not filled with the Holy Spirit we will revert to Religious Formalism and Ritualism.

Without the Holy Spirit we will begin to look for solace in external Spiritual Formulas, and we will end up venerating relics and other idols.

This externalisation of our Faith causes great suffering , and creates a sense of Separation Anxiety because we feel like we have become disconnected from the Love of our Father God.

“He who Supplies you with His marvellous Holy Spirit” from Galatians 3:5, shows how much importance Paul place upon the Holy Spirit.

Notice Paul did not say ‘He who supplies you with Rituals and Formulas and Idols and Prayer Beads and Relics’.

It is astounding that some Believers can accept that Jesus was Raised from the dead by the Power of the Holy Spirit, but cannot Believe that the Holy Spirit would want to work mightily in their own lives.

To Paul the Supply of the Holy Spirit was essential to the Success of a Believer.

By Paul’s asking “Do so on the grounds of your doing what the Law demands”, he is exposing the Truth that Ritualism cannot result in the Supply of the Holy Spirit, but can only be Received by Faith.

No amount of Religious Rituals will qualify you to Receive the Holy Spirit, and only by Faith will you Receive a continual Supply of the Holy Spirit.

You can have an Unlimited Supply of the Holy Spirit if you will continue to Receive the Spirit by Faith, and Not get deceived by Ritualism.
