Grace Vs Ritual Bondage

The Spiritual Warfare through the Ages has essentially been between the Grace of God and the Bondage of Ritualism.

Paul reveals this Spiritual Warfare in his Letter to the Galatians in Turkey, Galatians 2:4, AMP , “My precaution was because of false brethren who had been secretly smuggled in”

False Teachers of Ritualism do not appear in the midst of Churches founded on the Gospel of Grace by accident.

Why had the False Teachers of Ritualism appeared in the Fellowship?

Galatians 2:4 AMP, “they had slipped in to Spy on our Liberty and the freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might again bring us into bondage under the Law of Moses.”

Notice that Paul did not say that the Ritualist’s had been brought in to Spy on which Traditions or Sacraments or Sabbath observances or Dietary Requirements, we were following.

Those who promote Ritualism misinterpret the Liberty that we have in Christ Jesus as giving Believers a License to Sin, and they then subsequently use this misunderstanding to try to reintroduce Spiritual Legalism.
