Grace Vs Passed Away Passivity
In order to thwart the Power of the Holy Spirit, our Spiritual Enemy has sought to influence Believers to adopt the ‘Everything has Passed Away’ passive mentality.
This idea is known as Cessationism, and was largely created by some of the founders of the Reformed Movement including John Calvin, mainly as a reaction against the errors of Catholicism at that time.
As a result of the Catholic Church believing in the continuation of Gifts of Healing as an example, the Calvinists decided the promote the opposite position that it had all ‘Passed Away’.
The ‘Passed Away’ Dogma has produced a very weak and insipid body of Believers, who are ready to compromise with the PC indoctrination of the Cancel Culture Agenda.
The same conflict was happening in the early Church in Turkey.
In Paul’s Letter to the Galatians Ch 3:2, AMP, “Let me ask you this One Question:”
Notice Paul did NOT say, ‘Let’s debate this Passed Away issue, and then agree to disagree for the sake of Unity, because after all I don’t want to upset your Cessationist sensibilities’.
Paul wanted to ask One Question that would cut through all of the unbelieving PC nonsense.
Galatians 3:2, AMP, “Did you Receive the Holy Spirit as a result of obeying the Law and doing its works,”
This is the first part of Paul’s important Question.
Those who talk about how the Gifts of the Holy Spirit have all ‘Passed Away’ are basically saying that we no longer need to Receive the Holy Spirit.
This is why Paul opened his Question with, “Did you Receive the Holy Spirit?”
Paul was emphasising that the retreat into Ritualism will cause the Believers to reject the Work and Person and Present Day presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Paul doesn’t try to dissect the intricacies of the Ritual to prove it wrong, rather he asks “Did you Receive the Holy Spirit?”
As soon as we focus on Receiving the Holy Spirit the requirements of Ritualism become immediately unnecessary.
As soon as we lose fellowship with the Holy Spirit we become easily deceived by Ritualism, the Occult, Transcendental Magical Meditation, Reincarnation, Vestments and Incense and Altars, PC brainwashing, and every other type of delusion.
Paul demolishes the ‘Passed Away’ heresy by establishing that we receive Holy Spirit by Faith, and not by the observance of any type of Rituals.
Galatians 3:2, AMP, “Did you Receive the Holy Spirit as a result of obeying the Law of Moses and doing its works, or was it by hearing the Message of the Gospel, and Believing it?”
We asked our fictitious Agnostic Theological Professor Dubitans Scrooge to comment, ‘ Well of course we Teach our Students that all the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and Healings have all Passed Away. The Church was originally an oppressive Patriarchal Hierarchy, whereas nowadays we have evolved into more of a Universalist approach. Whilst I am very sceptical about the Church’s claims to Visions of Heaven and of Angels, I fully accept that our Modern Magic Mushroom Mystery Tours can lead to amazing mystical experiences of aliens and other worldly beings and serpents. In fact, to be really honest, I get most of my inspirations from the hallucinatory drugs that I take in hypnotic ceremonies. I recommend my Theological Students do the same type of experiments with mind altering substances.”
Paul brings us back to How to Receive the Holy Spirit in Galatians 3:2, AMP, “Was it from observing a Law of Rituals or from a Message of Faith?”
We Receive the Holy Spirit and His Gifts by Faith, it is so easy to understand that it would take the ‘Passed Away’ Advocate ‘Professor Dubitans Scrooge’ to confuse you.
The Calvinists thought that they had to renounce all Miracles and Healings and Visions of the Saints throughout History since Paul’s time, because ‘how could a corrupt Church produce Gifts of the Holy Spirit?’
This shows a complete lack of understanding of How we receive the Holy Spirit.
Any Born Again Christian can Receive the Holy Spirit by Faith no matter what Denomination they claim to be part of.
The Presbyterian cannot say to the Methodist that they are excluded from Receiving the Holy Spirit because they are in the wrong denomination.
We asked Praeter the Presbyterian for his valuable opinion, ‘These Methodists and Wesleyan fanatics had the audacity to reject our Sacred Reformed Rituals, which then opened the door for the whole Church worldwide to Believe they could Receive the Holy Spirit and His Gifts. If God wants to give me any Gifts, then He would have already done so by now.’
Would you like to Receive the Holy Spirit and His Gifts?
