Why do we Reject Grace?

Unfortunately some Believers are deceived by rejecting Grace for Religious Rituals.

The Apostle Paul warned the Galatians Church in Turkey about this danger.

Ch 1V6 “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the Grace of Christ unto another Gospel”

From this we can clearly see that Religious Formalism tries to seperate Believers from the Grace of Jesus Christ.

Why?

The battle between Grace and Legalism is the Spiritual Power Struggle of the Ages.

How are the Believers separated from Grace?

By introducing another Legalistic Gospel, which can take on many forms.

For example, one group may say that you are not really a Christian unless your Church gathering is on a Monday. This immediately creates an us vs them separation. Salvation now depends upon the observance of a particular day, instead of Believing in the Grace of Jesus.

So Paul was absolutely amazed that the Turkish Believers had quickly been led astray to reject Grace.

A Turkish Believer was supposed to have said, “Well after all, we want a strict Discipline of Praying at set times, and several sessions per day, using a set in stone formula which cannot be changed. None of this easy Grace nonsense, it’s just an excuse for people to sin. The Rigid discipline of routine is what we need.”

Paul is very bold, “But though we or an Angel from Heaven Preach any other Gospel unto you than that we have Preached unto you, let him be ACCURSED”.

Preaching and Teaching any Gospel message other than Grace will bring a Curse.

You cannot work or buy your way into Heaven.

This is why Martin Luther became extremely upset with the corruption of Selling Indulgences.

There is only one way to Salvation and that is by Believing in the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ .
