Substitute

Most people view life from the perspective of a “Victim of Society” in Western Cultures.

This leads us to see everything that happens to us as a battle, and therefore we see life as “us versus them”.

Instead, we need to see life as a Game, where we can Win the Game of Life if we understand the Rules of the Game.

One Rule is the Law of Substitution.

The musical band The Who wrote a classic hit song called Substitute, with amazing lyrics.

“You think we look pretty good together,

You think my shoes are made of leather,

But I’m a substitute for another guy,”
