Keys to Commonwealth

In the Gospels the message of Kingdom Prosperity is discussed by Jesus Christ in absolute clarity. Yet there is much confusion over the subjects of Prosperity and Poverty in the Church today. We mainly have two opposing dogmas,  the Prosperity advocates and the Poverty supporters. Both schools of thought have missed the intention of Jesus detailed Teaching on the subjects of money and wealth.

If you want to know to Keys to Kingdom Prosperity we need to examine what Jesus taught on this subject in the Gospels. In Mark Ch 4, Jesus discusses the Parable of ‘The Sower Sows the Word’, and the subject of wealth is discussed in this context in V19. Many Christians have the false understanding that most of Jesus Teaching was about the afterlife, or mainly about ‘Pie in the Sky’. However, if Jesus was only concerned with Heaven then why did he use primarily earthly examples in his Parables ? Mark 4 V19 states in NKJV , “And the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, …”. The ignorant respond to this verse by taking it out of the context of Sowing and say,”See Jesus said for us not to be concerned about this world.” In reality what Jesus is talking about here is the CARES or Anxiety or Fears or Stress of this world. In modern language it simply means ‘Dont be stressed out’. But we have been told that Jesus was saying,’ Dont be involved in this world, just concern yourselves with Heaven. I want you to be so Heavenly minded that you are no earhlly good.’ This is the ridiculous mindset of many Christians today.
